I’ve been not so patiently trying to capture some of Oliver’s milestones on video without much success.  Just in the past few weeks he’s started babbling, “Dadadada.”  This past week he’s taken a few steps on his own and is standing up like a pro.  Then, today he starts clapping… and I actually caught it on video!  Awwww!  I think we’ve been clapping a lot for him with the walking and he’s picked up on it.  Now you say, “Yay Ollie!” and he will clap.  Haha!  He’s so darn cute!

Too funny, I was just editing the video for this post and O was watching it with me and clapping when he heard me say, “Yay Ollie!” or saw himself clapping.  Then of course I’m trying to get him to say, “Dada” on the video and he won’t do it but he says it while he’s watching me try to get him to say it.  Go figure!

Now if I could just get him to sign “milk.”  I thought he was doing a few times but his “sign” for it is still head butting me in the chest and then nuzzling his face around.
