It’s time for school to start again all over the country and here in Texas it’s right around the corner. Like many other states, Texas offers days with no state sales tax on certain items to allow families to stock up on items for back-to-school. Texas’s tax-free dates are Friday, August 17, to Sunday, August 19.
I’m excited to announce that I will be hosting a #TaxFreeTX Twitter party with Walmart! The chat will be a chance for fellow Texas parents to share their game plans for the sales tax holiday and their top tips for back-to-school shopping. We’ll be discussing ways to make the most of this important weekend and how to get the kids off to school right. We’ll also have Walmart gift cards to give away to help with back-to-school essentials!
